David Sherr

Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada

David is a graduate of Western University (2008), with a B.A. Honors Specialization in Psychology, and of Osgoode Hall Law School (2011) with a Juris Doctor. David completed his articles at Ricketts, Harris LLP and was called to the bar in 2012. He has since worked at Levitt, Lightman, Dewar & Graham LLP, practising exclusively in the field of family law.

In his practice, David has obtained extensive experience in matters arising from separation and divorce, involving issues of parenting - decision making, parenting time, custody, access - child and spousal support, and property division. David also has experience with cases involving mobility issues, international child abduction, and inter-jurisdictional support.

David's approach is negotiation, where possible, and litigation, if necessary. He will help you make informed decisions and advocate on your behalf, with a view to reaching the best and most cost-effective resolution for you and your family. David has extensive experience drafting and reviewing domestic contracts, and he has litigated at lower and appellate courts, including at the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court, and the Ontario Court of Appeal.

In his spare time, David likes to hack up golf courses, whiff on slap shots, and ruin your favourite songs at karaoke. Please see below for additional information for David, or view the profile for Richard Levitt, Fred Levitt, Murray Lightman or Jordan Neal.
